This is my grandfather, Wilbur Blanton, and his brother, Horace. They were the youngest of 8 children born to William and Mirenda (Mills) Blanton (2 of the children died in 1891 before they were born). They also had an older half-brother and half-sister. Wilbur and Horace remained in contact with each other all of their lives, so I can only assume that they were close growing up. I love their clothes in this picture; they are so cute!

They are both very handsome little men. They look a little uncomfortable in those ties. Aren't you glad you have the picture, Debbie?
ReplyDeleteCute picture - it must have been so hard for them to stand still for it! Especially in their dressed-up clothes. I imagine they were action packed little boys!
